Summary

Ham Ham is a paid, offline-friendly exam-prep app. We designed it to respect your privacy by default.

• No data collection: We do not collect, track, sell, or share personal information.
• No accounts: There is no sign-in and no server-side user profile.
• No analytics or ads: We do not use analytics SDKs, ad networks, or crash reporting services.
• Local only: Your practice progress and settings are stored on your device and/or your personal iCloud (if enabled by iOS). We cannot access them.
• One permission: Optional local notifications to remind you to study.

What We Collect (and Don’t)

We collect no personal data. Specifically, we do not collect or transmit:

• Names, emails, phone numbers, IP addresses, precise location, identifiers, or demographics
• Usage analytics, crash logs, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or device fingerprints
• Payment or purchase data (all payments are processed by Apple)
• Any content you view, answer, or create in the app

Local-only data: Your app settings (e.g., selected license class, local progress) are stored on your device, and may be synced by Apple via iCloud if you enable it. This data never leaves your Apple ecosystem to our servers because we do not operate servers for Ham Ham.

Permissions

Local Notifications (Optional)

With your consent, Ham Ham may schedule local notifications to remind you to study. These notifications are configured and delivered by iOS on your device. We do not receive notification tokens and cannot send push notifications.

Third-Party Services

Ham Ham does not integrate SDKs such as Firebase/Google Analytics, Crashlytics, advertising networks, or external AI APIs. The app relies on Apple’s operating system features (e.g., local storage and iCloud, if the user enables it).

Payments

Ham Ham is a paid app. Purchases are processed solely by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.

Children’s Privacy

Ham Ham is suitable for a general audience and may be used by learners of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not collect data at all, there is no profile, tracking, or targeted advertising.

Your Privacy Rights

Because Ham Ham does not collect or process personal data, most rights under privacy laws (access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out of sale/share, etc.) are generally not applicable. If you contact us, we’ll still help with any question and explain how your device stores your local data.

GDPR / UK-GDPR

We act as the data controller for the app. We do not process personal data, do not perform profiling, and do not transfer your data internationally. Legal bases for processing are not applicable due to no processing.

CCPA / CPRA (California)

• No “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.
• No targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.
• No data retention beyond your own device/iCloud storage.

Security

Ham Ham stores data locally on your device (and optionally in your iCloud account). Please use a device passcode/Face ID/Touch ID and iCloud security best practices to protect access. Because we do not operate servers for Ham Ham, there is no server-side storage for us to secure.

International Users

Ham Ham is available worldwide and in English. We do not collect personal data or make international transfers of your information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes. If we ever introduce data collection or new integrations, we will update this page and the in-app disclosures before the change takes effect.
