Summary

• Ham Ham does not require an account. Study progress and settings are stored on your device and may be included in your personal Apple backups.
• The free experience displays banner ads supplied by Google AdMob. Google may collect or process the data described below to provide and measure ads.
• Where required, Ham Ham asks for your advertising privacy choices through Google’s User Messaging Platform before requesting ads.
• An optional annual subscription, processed by Apple, removes banner ads while the subscription is active.
• Optional study reminders are local notifications scheduled by iOS.

Who We Are

Information Stored by Ham Ham

Ham Ham stores your study choices, answers, progress, and app settings locally on your device. We do not operate a Ham Ham account system or a server that receives this study data. Apple may include local app data in your personal iCloud or device backup according to your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy policy.

Advertising and Consent

Ham Ham uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display banner ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform to collect privacy choices where required. Depending on your region, device settings, consent choices, and the ad served, Google and its advertising partners may collect or process:

• Coarse location, such as location inferred from an IP address
• Device identifiers
• Advertising data
• Product interactions, such as ad or app interactions
• Diagnostics, including crash, performance, and other diagnostic data

These data may be used for third-party advertising, the developer’s advertising or marketing, analytics, app functionality, fraud prevention, security, and measurement. Some advertising data and identifiers may be linked to a device or identity by Google. A device identifier may be used for tracking across apps or websites when allowed by applicable law, your consent, and Apple platform controls.

Ham Ham does not currently display Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Where consent is required, ads are not requested until the consent system reports that requests are permitted. When required for your region, you can revisit your choices from Settings → Ad Privacy Choices.

Ad-Free Subscription and Payments

The optional “Remove Ads Annual” subscription is purchased and managed through Apple’s App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes payment details. Ham Ham checks the verified subscription entitlement on your device to decide whether to hide ads; we do not operate a purchase server or receive your payment-card details.

The subscription renews automatically each year unless canceled through your App Store subscription settings. Removing ads stops Ham Ham from requesting banner ads while the entitlement is active, but it does not delete information previously processed by an advertising provider.

Apple’s handling of purchases is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement.

Permissions

Local notifications (optional)

With your permission, Ham Ham may schedule local notifications to remind you to study. iOS schedules and delivers these notifications on your device. Ham Ham does not use remote push-notification tokens.

Children’s Privacy

Ham Ham is an educational app for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children under 13. Google ad requests are limited to Google’s “General audience” ad-content rating. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through an advertising provider, contact us and the relevant provider so the request can be investigated.

Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal data, or to opt out of certain advertising uses. Use the in-app Ad Privacy Choices control when it is available, use your iOS privacy settings, or contact us at alex@designwithaa.com. Requests concerning data controlled by Google or Apple may need to be submitted directly to that provider.

A & A Design Inc. does not sell personal information. Advertising providers may process information for personalized or cross-context advertising only as permitted by applicable law, consent choices, and platform settings.

Data Retention, Security, and International Processing

Local study data remains on your device until you clear or remove it. Third-party providers determine retention and security for data they process under their own policies. Google and Apple may process data in countries other than your own using the safeguards described in their policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when Ham Ham or applicable requirements change. The effective date below identifies the latest revision.
